Mr. Lazar will be the principal for CCHS starting the 2022-23 school year and is looking forward to a great year.

Michael "Troy" Barlow, an educator since 2005, currently serves as Assistant Principal. Mr. Barlow came to Camden County Public Schools from Elizabeth City-Pasqoutank County Public Schools where he served as teacher, department chair, coach and athletic director. Before moving to North Carolina, Mr. Barlow worked for Henrico County Public Schools in central Virginia, where he served as a teacher, department chair, coach and athletic director. Mr. Barlow holds a Bachelors of Science in Health and Physical Education from Virginia Commonwealth University and a Masters of Arts in Educational Leadership from Queens University of Charlotte. Mr. Barlow is native of Richmond, Virginia and is a proud graduate of Henrico County Public Schools.

Coach Harnly has been with Camden County Schools since 1995. He has served as the head coach of the Bruins Varsity Basketball team for more than 20 years and has coached numerous other sports. In addition to his duties as Athletic Director, Coach Harnly serves as a Physical Education teacher. He is a graduate of Camden County High School and received a Bachelor’s and Master’s degree from East Carolina University.
