Honors Anatomy & Physiology

Course Information: Elective

This course is for students who are interested in a more detailed study of the structures and functions of the human body. Class lectures will include the study of cells, biochemistry, and molecular biology and provide an understanding of the cardiovascular, respiratory, lymphatic, immune, digestive, urinary, and reproductive systems in the human body. Metabolism, nutrition, body heat regualtion, body fluid regualtion, human growth and development, and heredity are studied in this course as well. Laboratory dissection is used to complement the lectures, discussions, and demonstrations.
