Attention Bruins! Final Chromebook Pickup Before School Starts
If you have not yet picked up your Chromebook, Thursday, August 20, from 1:00–4:00 p.m. will be your last opportunity before the first day of school.
If you wait until Monday, you may not receive your Chromebook until later in the day. If you want to be fully prepared and ready to go on the first day of school, we strongly encourage you to come on Thursday!
For those who have already picked up your Chromebook, please make sure it is fully charged and ready to go for the first day of school.
✅ Before a Chromebook can be issued, students must have a completed Technology Form signed by both the student and parent/guardian, the $30 Supply & Technology Fee paid, and all outstanding balances or items from the previous school year cleared.
If you completed the Technology Form through Infinite Campus or paid the fees online, please let us know at pickup so we can verify it in our system. Payments made at pickup are cash or check only.

Senior Meeting Reminder
Tomorrow at 6:00 p.m., we will hold our Senior Meeting for all Class of 2027 parents and students. The meeting will take place in the CCHS cafeteria.
During the meeting, you will receive important information about post-graduation pathways, graduation requirements and information, the senior trip, and much more. This is an exciting time for the Class of 2027, and we want to make sure all students and families have the information they need to make the most of their senior year.
We look forward to seeing everyone tomorrow night!

Congratulations to our Men’s Soccer Team on an impressive season opener yesterday! The Bruins came away with a 4–0 victory over Bear Grass.
This young team brings a lot of energy, enthusiasm, and excitement to the field. We can’t wait to see what they accomplish this season! The Bruins will travel to Currituck tomorrow for their next match. Their next home game is Monday, August 17th, at 5:00 p.m. against NEATT. Come out, show your Bruin pride, and support our Bruins! We hope to see you there! ⚽
Freshman Parents,
It was great meeting and interacting with our Freshmen today! They had the opportunity to meet their classmates, receive their schedules, have some fun, and practice finding their classes. They did a fantastic job!
Now, it’s your turn! Tomorrow, Tuesday, August 11, is our Freshman Parent Meeting at 6:00 p.m. in the CCHS Cafeteria.
Your child does not need to attend the meeting. The only students who should attend are Freshmen who were unable to attend today, along with any new 10th- or 11th-grade students who are new to Camden County High School.
We look forward to seeing all of our Freshman parents tomorrow evening! We’ll share important information to help you and your student get off to a great start.

Important Freshman Orientation Reminder
Freshman Orientation at CCHS! 🎉 Monday, August 10th | 11:00 AM – 3:00 PM (Please arrive by 10:30 AM) Students Only
Students will: This fun and informative event will give students a strong start to their high school journey. You’ll meet staff and student leaders, tour the campus, and receive important information to help you feel confident on the first day. Reminder Freshman and New Student Parent Info Night | Tuesday, August 11th at 6:00 PM
We invite all parents of incoming freshmen as well as any new 10th or 11th grade students to join us for an informative evening in the CCHS cafeteria as we kick off this exciting high school journey together. Students who did not attend the Freshman Orientation on Monday are welcome to come! We will offer school tours to ensure they feel comfortable navigating the building, along with other important information to help them start strong. Students who already attended orientation do not need to attend this evening session.
💬 During the meeting, we’ll share helpful information, answer your questions, and highlight the many ways we’ll work together to support your student’s success throughout their freshman year and beyond.

CAMDEN COUNTY BOARD OF EDUCATION

The Camden County Board of Education will have its regular meeting on Thursday, June 11, 2026 at the Camden County Public Library for various purposes. The Board will hold a closed session at 5:00 p.m. to discuss one or more confidential personnel matters, as allowed by NCGS 143-318.11(a)(1),(3),(5), and (6). The closed session will be followed by an open session at 7:00 p.m. The open session is open to the public in accordance with the North Carolina Open Meetings law. The meeting will be livestreamed.
