The Middle School and High School bands cordially invite you to our annual Spring Concert events. Come out and share the evening with us. We only have a few of these events each year, and we'd love the opportunity to share them with you. I think you would be AMAZED at the level of musicianship and professionalism our ensembles create.
The CCHS/CECHS Concert is this week on Thursday. The CMS Concert is held on Tuesday May 14. Both events are at COA beginning at 6:30. Both events are free and open to the public.
Just a reminder for students and staff that this Friday, March 22nd at 1:00pm there will be a Mandatory Senior Meeting in the cafeteria for all seniors graduating this June.

All students interested in being a member of the 2024 blue machine must attend a meeting with their parents in the CCHS cafeteria on Tuesday, March 27 @ 6:30 pm . The meeting is required for all new and returning members.
Mark your calendars for a special day of appreciation – School Bus Driver Appreciation Day on Thursday, February 22nd. Join us in celebrating the outstanding dedication of your child's bus driver. Their incredible commitment to ensuring the safety of our students during their journeys to and from school deserves recognition. Let's also extend our gratitude to the entire transportation department for their hard work in maintaining the safety and efficiency of our school buses. Your support in acknowledging these essential members of our team is truly appreciated.

Winter Formal - As we gear up for the Winter Formal Dance, we want to remind everyone of the importance of maintaining a respectful attire. Please ensure your outfit is appropriate for a school setting by following school dress code guidelines. We hope to have an enjoyable and inclusive event for all.
If you plan to wear a mask to compliment your attire please wear a Masquerade mask, no other masks (i.e. Halloween) will be permitted. Single tickets are $15 and Couple tickets are $25.
CCHS Athletic Boosters 2024 Golf Tournament 18 Hole Scramble - Saturday April 13 9:30 am at the Pines in Elizabeth City with a Shotgun start. $100 per player or $400 Foursome. $200 Hole sponsorships available! Winter Sports Awards - Save the date for the Winter Sports Awards night scheduled for March 6th at 6:00 PM. Further details will be provided in March, so be on the lookout for more information. Don't forget to mark your calendars for this special evening celebrating your achievements and contributions to our sports community.
Spring Sports - Attention Spring Sports athletes: To secure your spot at tryouts, submit all necessary documents to Coach Harnly, including an updated physical, academic eligibility confirmation, and completed paperwork. Coach Harnly will then issue a tryout ticket, which is essential for participation. You need to be cleared by Coach Harnly before you get a ticket. He will be available during lunch periods on Thursday, February 8th and Friday, February 9th. Pay attention to announcements leading up to the scheduled tryouts on February 14th and 15th. Coach Harnly and our Spring Coaches will provide additional information, so stay tuned. Students, please ensure you listen to announcements, and make sure you see Coach Harnly this Thursday and Friday during your lunch period.
